Big Cooper Doorknock & Training

The federal election is less than two months away! Join Victorian Socialists volunteers on Saturday April 23 to help us take our message of putting people before profits to thousands of residents in Northcote (Cooper electorate)

We'll also be promoting our fabulous candidates for the area: Kath Larkin for the seat of Cooper, a former rank-and-file union leader on Melbourne’s railways and staunch social justice activist, and Senate candidate Aran Mylvaganam, a lifelong anti-racism campaigner and trade union organiser who came to Australia as a child refugee.

New volunteers are welcome! This is an all-in Victorian Socialists campaign event, so we encourage volunteers and supporters from across the state to join us, no matter which electorate you live in.

How the day will run:

*We'll meet at 11:30am at All Nations Park, just behind Northcote Plaza on Separation street, Northcote. We'll have a short briefing to discuss talking points, and to hand out material and maps for the doorknock.

*At 12:15pm volunteers who’ve doorknocked before will leave in pairs. Meanwhile, first timers can participate in a training workshop with experienced campaigners before heading out.

*After doorknocking for a few hours, we'll come back together at All Nations Park for a debrief.
