Big Doorknock in Calwell

The federal election is only 2 months away. Join Victorian Socialists volunteers on Saturday April 2nd to help us take our message of putting people before profits to thousands of residents in Broadmeadows (Calwell Electorate).
We'll also be promoting our fabulous candidates for the area:
- Jerome Small for the seat of Calwell, former construction worker, trade union organiser and social justice campaigner
- Aran Mylvaganam for the Senate, founder of the Tamil Refugee Council, anti-racism campaigner and trade union organiser.
New volunteers more than welcome to join us! We're also encouraging VS campaigners from across the northern suburbs to join us in Broadmeadows.
How the day will run:
*We'll meet at 11am in the carpark out the front of the Broadmeadows train station for a briefing to discuss what we are talking to residents about, to hand out material and maps for the doorknock.
*Then we'll pair up new campaigners with people who have more experience to do the doorknock.
*After doorknocking for a few hours we'll come back together at Broadmeadows Town Park for a debrief and cold drinks.
