Bell St Action: Info Stall & Doorknock for Corflutes!
Visual visibility is crucial for our campaign, and we need your help to get Victorian Socialists corflutes (yard signs) up on fences and front gardens across the neighborhood.
Whether you’re a seasoned activist or looking to get involved for the very first time, everyone is welcome.
Event Details
When: Saturday, 11th July at 1:00 PM
Where: Meeting at Malahang Reserve, Heidelberg West
What: Running a community information stall and doorknocking nearby streets
What to Expect
We will split into two main teams:
The Info Stall: Chatting with locals doing their shopping at Bell st. Aldi, handing out flyers, and talking about what Victorian Socialists stand for.
The Doorknock: Heading out in pairs to targeted nearby streets to speak with residents about putting up a campaign sign on their property.
First time? No worries at all! We always pair newcomers with an experienced campaigner, and we will run a brief training and briefing session at 1:00 PM before we start. You won't be thrown into the deep end alone.
What to Bring
Comfortable walking shoes
A water bottle and sunscreen/weather-appropriate gear
