I will fight to end privatisation and build a society where everyone has what they need to live a full, secure and meaningful life.

Hi, I’m Chris. I’m a public school teacher, musician, and member of the Australian Education Union and the Socialists in Schools rank-and-file organising group. I’m a father of three, soon to be a grandfather.

I’m running in this election as a candidate for Bass with Victorian Socialists because I believe we need an economy and society that puts people before profit.

Labor and the Coalition want us to lower our expectations. They want us to believe that the problems created by a system that puts corporate profits ahead of people are unavoidable.

Big business is booming at our expense. Victoria’s public schools shouldn’t have to beg for scraps. Full funding means better resources, stronger support and better life outcomes for students and families.

We don't have to accept the way things are. I will fight to end privatisation and build a society where everyone has what they need to live a full, secure and meaningful life.
