Hey there Bellarine, I'm Ronan, and I'm running as your state election candidate from the Victorian Socialists.
I believe in the de-privatisation and de-commodification of public services. Whatever the privatisation agenda has touched in Victoria - from the energy system, to public transport and road maintenance - it has made worse. A key component of my campaign within the Bellarine will be to stop the flow of public money to private sector interests - particularly private contracting.
I also believe in the importance of a robust and well funded public transport system, as well as the expansion of publicly owned land to further safeguard our native environment.
I will fight for the expansion and accessibility of bus routes throughout the Bellarine, as well as for the extension of the V-line into the peninsula, and for the creation of a public works program for the maintenance and development of public roads, parks and buildings.
