Murrumbeena Doorknock

Come along to doorknock in the Murrrumbeena community and chat about the state election campaign!
The Victorian Socialists MOBBS crew (activists in Malvern, Oakleigh, Bentleigh, Brighton and Sandringham) will be hitting the streets in Murrumbeena on Saturday to knock on doors and raise support for our awesome election campaign.
We’ll meet first at Murrumbeena Train Station (on the south side of the station, at the corner of Murrumbeena Rd and Railway Parade) for an intro and volunteer briefing. Then we’ll break up into teams and doorknock around Murrumbeena for about two hours, talking to local residents about voting Victorian Socialists, volunteering for our campaign, putting up yard signs and making donations. Finally, we will gather back together for a debrief and political conversation.
If this is your first doorknock, don’t worry! We will do some basic training before hand and match you up with an experienced volunteer who can show you the ropes.
What to bring:
Comfortable shoes
Weather appropriate gear (sunscreen / umbrella etc)
Water and a snack
Your energy and enthusiasm!
