This November, Victorian Socialists will run candidates across Victoria in the biggest campaign we've ever mounted. We've launched the State Election Fighting Fund to raise $250,000 from members and supporters — a major contribution to what will be a massive electoral effort. We want to hit that target before the end of September.
We're building a genuine socialist presence across Victoria that can fight back against the growth of the far-right, campaign for better public services, and organise working people around a politics of solidarity.
Why this election matters
Pauline Hanson and One Nation will be running candidates right across Victoria. For a party built on scapegoating migrants, demonising Muslims, and dividing working people through racism, this is their most serious attempt yet to embed themselves in Victorian politics. We want to make sure they are countered in as many places as possible.
Victorian Socialists on the ballot offer a direct answer: that the problems workers face — unaffordable rent, crumbling hospitals and schools, insecure underpaid work — are the product of a system that puts profit before people, not the fault of migrants or minorities. Every seat where we run is a seat where voters have a socialist alternative to Hanson's politics of division.
What your donation goes towards
Running candidates across more seats than ever takes serious resources. We need to fund candidate deposits, letters, how-to-vote cards, corflutes, and the organising infrastructure to run new campaigns from Ballarat to Dandenong as well as across the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne where we've already built a real base.

This campaign is funded by members and supporters because unlike the big parties we don’t get funds from developers or corporations who would like things to stay as they are.

Victorian Socialists is a registered political party. Donations of $1,240 or more are required to be disclosed under Victorian electoral law. The general donation cap is $4,970 per donor over the four-year electoral cycle.
