This is a great opportunity to come along, hear what we’re about, raise the issues that matter to you, and ask questions directly to the people running to represent our communities.

Hear from Ben Milne (Candidate for Ivanhoe)
Our main speaker for the afternoon will be Ben Milne, your Victorian Socialists candidate for Ivanhoe. Ben is a local renter, a supermarket worker, and a proud unionist with the Retail and Fast Food Workers' Union (RAFFWU).
Ben knows firsthand that the standard of living for everyday people is going backwards while landlords, property developers, and big corporations line their pockets. He has spent years as a community organizer fighting against inequality, racism, and vested interests. As Ben says: "In a wealthy society like Australia, there's no reason anyone should be doing it tough - what's missing is the political will to fight against vested interests."
